Pecan Energies
and its partners award full scholarships worth GHS 5.5 Million to 70 students, including former head porter (Kayayo) whose story went viral, to pursue tertiary education.

(Accra, January 15, 2024) Pecan Energies is delighted to announce that it has awarded full scholarships worth Five Million Five Hundred and Twenty-Four Thousand Ghana Cedis (GHS 5,524,000) to 70 students to pursue various courses at tertiary institutions across the country for the 2023/2024 academic year. The Pecan Inspire Scholarship Program (PISP) targets brilliant students from low-income households. The addition of 70 new students brings the total number of beneficiaries so far to 141.
